February was a great month for us on campus and there is so much more happening in the future. We can't wait to fill you in! It is because of your prayers and financial support we can be doing what God's called us to do! Thank you.
Enjoy the pictures below from Trinidad and Tobago. For those of you who don't know where those countries are, we could see Venezuela just 7 miles off the cost (South America). It was beautiful weather.
This is a crazy story: Our goal going down there was to make connections and get permission to come later in the summer with an AIA track and field tour. So we had meeting after meeting with high ranking officials in clubs, at schools, and in the government. Our very last meeting of the trip was with one of the universities on Trinidad. As we walked in we were greeted with a big smile and the fellow that greeted us said, "I love the 'W' on your shirt! That's where I studied in the states!" Brian and I looked at each other and with a huge grin said to ourselves, only God could set this one up. The first photo is a picture we took with him after our meeting. It goes to say we definitely made a connection there.

Here is an email we sent to our SALT (Student-Athlete Leadership Team) that I thought you would enjoy reading too. It's because of your support that things like this happen on a more regular basis. Enjoy and be encouraged.

Wanted to pass a quick note of encouragement to you all about what took place last night. We had three different opportunities for a few of you to share the work Jesus has done in your life!
1. Frat House - In probably one of the most hostile environments to give a testimony, Drew shared his story in front of about 75 frat guys as we partnered with BadgerCru. Drew did a phenomenal job communicating his story! Timmy and Cole came to support him and joined him up front afterwards for some Q and A.
2. FCA Monona Grove - Hannah went to Monona Grove (with Josh??) and shared her testimony with the high schoolers and a few parents. Props to Hannah for doing this without any of us staff to tag along!
3. FCA Stoughton - Jess went to Stoughton with Linsey and shared her testimony for the first time! You would never know that though as she told her story with passion and boldness.
SALT, last night over 100 frat guys, high schoolers, and parents heard the life changing message of Jesus!
Thanks for being the hands and feet last night, for being faithful disciples, and for going to the world (frat houses and FCAs!!) It's so fun to see you all stepping out by faith and we can't wait to see what fruit happens from these events.
His servants,

There has been a lot happening the past month since school started and we hope to update the site more often with stuff that is happening this semester... it's going to be a crazy semester for us.
Many of you have asked about the new football coach here.... we hope to meet him this week. He's been doing a lot of recruiting of players and coaches so he has been out of the office. Please be praying for that meeting as we have been very impressed with him from a distance.
Let us know if there is anything we can do for you. We are very grateful and thankful for all you do for us.

Thankful:
We can’t believe winter break is already here! It has been an absolute whirlwind of a first semester back at the UW. We’re thankful beyond words for the staff team that the Lord has given us here and for the student-athletes and coaches who we get to work with on a daily basis.
Please know as you read this that we’re so thankful for you too! It’s incredibly humbling for us to be reminded of the reality that, apart from the team of men and women that the Lord has assembled to pray for, encourage, and support our ministry with Athletes in Action, we simply could not be here.
So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you! May the Lord bless you this Christmas season! (Luke 2:12-14)
Love,
The Turners

If you haven't heard yet... It's a BOY!
The school semester is almost half over and a lot has happened. Read about our trip to the Northwest, how wrestling and hockey are coming along, and about a family member who accomplished something great. Hope you're encouraged and enjoy. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Know that we really appreciate you and your support of the vision God's given us.
Thanks so much for your continued support and prayers. You are the ones who make this job possible for us. Really do appreciate you all. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

What a great couple months. We're definitely in the stage of our lives where transition is normal and we're excited to see where God will have us in the coming months and years. It's exciting times!!!
Let us now if there is any way we can be praying for you or if you need anything else from us. We're always here for you and know that we're praying for you too.
Enjoy the few pics from inside and outside Sue!

This past month was a blast and hope you enjoy reading about it. God is definitely moving at Ultimate Training Camp and also at Summers Best Two Weeks.
Our time at SB2W has been sweet and challenging. We are both enjoying overseeing the counselors and having great conversation/time with them. We're studying Nehemiah together in our Bible studies and it's been really fun to see them be lead kids towards the cross. We just finished the first term (Summer One) with the campers. We are so often reminded by our staff and coworkers that our #1 priority is to get some great time with Jesus in the morning before we empty ourselves that day. He is our sustenance and purpose for the day. We need to cling to that and remember that throughout the day.
If you think about us can you please pray that Phoebe leads well in her leadership role as Women's Director of the camp and for Tyler as he will be speaking each term on being Transformed. Pray that Tyler points them to Jesus and how He transforms, not focusing on the things that "need" to be done.
Thank you in advance. Enjoy the pics from CO and the newsletter.
Love you all and are grateful for your support and friendships.
